Re: Realistically. Who do we look at keeping?
Well none of our players had any offers by mid August last season. Very few of them aside from Nolan, Payne and Azeez have made much of a case to remain in the national league and I'd only keep hold of those three if we feel we can get a fee for selling them or if the owners have aspirations of ...

Re: Realistically. Who do we look at keeping?
I'd like to see us keep the list below. I think the three keepers will be good/cheap enough for NLN but would also welcome replacing one. Players like Edwards, Azeez and Nolan could fetch a fee but if they are out of contract I'd understand us letting them go to reduce the wage bill. There was also ...

Re: Time for change of direction?
I'm no fan of Panjab but there have been at least a few promising signs. It came a little too late but sacking Ash and bringing back Martin are at least evidence of them being able to admit their mistakes to some degree. If they can bring in a few more of the right people (I'd like to see Rod and ...

Re: Sutton (A) Predictions
Seems like they’ve hit a bit of form, a draw possibly not the worst result but only so many winnable games left.

Re: It never ends
Charles street didn’t seem too interested in getting their money back during the summer when we were at risk. I remember multiple people tried to contact them, I think somebody even went to their offices but couldn’t get an answer out of them. As far as I remember they made no attempt to influence ...

Hard to do without bias but judging by my predictions, anywhere in the 45-50 range should hopefully see us safe.

Re: Greatest Great Escape? Could We?
Unlike last season I think we do have a decent squad for this level. Hopefully Saturday has given them the confidence to play to the level they're capable of. I'm not too concerned with the teams above us, I think a couple will get pulled in but it only matters if we focus on ourselves and go on a ...

Re: questions
Hi
With regards to the minority shareholders action “ not getting off the ground” just to clarify the purpose of the action, it was being taken in the event of PW not going ahead and completing the purchase( and for quite a while it looked as if they might pull out) or JW pulling out of the deal ...

Re: questions
I think if you own a majority, like over 51% like Panjab do, you pretty much control the club unimpeded. There was that talk of minor shareholders taking action in the summer to force Jason out but it never really got off the ground.

Yeah I'll backtrack on what I said a bit, probably exact same scenario Rod and Graham found themselves in. Probably not included in any conversations and not allowed to do anything so only option is to resign

Yeah I kind of agree, she seemed really good at being chair of the trust. Brought a level of professionalism to it and was really vocal last season and over the summer but aside from being at the forum, I can't think of one thing she's done whilst being a director. The fact she's stepped down may ...

Re: Jim Bentley - New Manager
Seems like one of those daft suggestions that someone makes on the facebook fan page and gets immediately shut down but they've actually gone and done it.
Not massively encouraging but think I can get behind it, might be exactly what we need.

Terrace confirmed on Twitter they would honour the promise to supply kits to a phoenix team if required. Really sad to see them go, best kits we’ve had in a long time, they took the entire merchandise up a notch.

Buzzing to see him go. Sad someone has lost their job but he had no business getting it in the first place and did himself no favours with the fans.

Re: Jason's revenge
Honestly I think Panjab are just dangerously incompetent. How badly they run the club just proves how easy it was for Jason to take them for a ride.
Best case scenario, they have no idea what they're actually doing. Worse case, they're up to something more sinister.

I agree that his background may be in improving players individually and on style over results but I wouldn’t say we’re even doing that. We’ve never looked worse and the decent (on paper) players look poor and uninterested.
