Re: Jim Staying On
Another step in the right direction by PW, lets hope they actually give him the power to do what's needed and he's not just a figurehead to deflect criticism.

Re: Club Statement
PW could start by installing a competent CEO with experience, and bringing back board members with a local connection and connection to the fans. I would actually rather the club paid the playing staff less if it meant they could invest properly in things behind the scenes (CEO, training facilities ...

Re: Club Statement
Too many times they've popped up with an insulting, AI-written statement when it's too late. Actions speak louder than words, I'll believe it when I see it.
For all the complaining about losing £200k a month, it's a bold commitment to being fully professional next year. There's no way the club ...

Ropinder Out
With relegation confirmed, time to look to next season. One man said he was responsible for everything on and off the pitch at the fans forum, and both have been a disaster this season.

Re: Team wear 2026 / 2027 ?
I also noticed the odd wording, I suspect it's because kit supplier deals aren't straightforward. Some will offer the club a lump sum but retain all merchandise profits, others will offer the club a percentage of profits. Maybe Terrace gave the club a lump sum, and the new supplier are offering a ...

Re: If only
I think they got approval from the EFL because they washed their hands of us when we got relegated, and got approval from the NL because the alternative was us going into liquidation. Normal sales get approval in weeks, not months or years.

Re: Team wear 2026 / 2027 ?
PW continue to be a PR nightmare. Clearly this statement was released after Terrace decided to close the shop.
If there's a record-breaking kit supplier deal, why not just announce it now? Can't they keep the shop running? How much revenue are we losing by shutting the shop?

Re: Shrimps Trust meeting with PWs
Makes you wonder if having no commercial manager for most of the season was a good way to grow revenue... Of course, that probably wasn't PW's fault just like every other error they've made.P/T Indie wrote: Mon Apr 06, 2026 9:02 pm There are a lot of blank spaces now where sponsor boards used to be.

Re: Who is accountable for our demise,
Ropinder is merely an employee of the football club. He can't be blamed too much for what's happened long term. He's got a key decision wrong this season but he carries the can for a multi-year pile of dickheads.
Ropinder made it extremely clear at the fans forum that he was responsible for ...

Re: Morecambe 2 [Edwards] Carlisle 2 LIVE thread
Another result that would have been good earlier in the season, but is just too late for us now.
If Jim had managed us from the start and managed his current rate of 1.13 points per match, we'd be on 49 points and potentially already safe from relegation. This squad is good enough, Ropinder and ...

Re: Morecambe 1 [Edwards] Carlisle 2 LIVE thread
Sums up why we're going to be relegated. We were by far the better team first half, then fitness or whatever else set in and we look lost. Then a very, very poor goal to concede and we're behind.
Overall we don't look that much worse than Carlisle, but here we are.

Eastleigh winning sadly, but Aldershot losing. If we can keep winning lets hope we can drag Aldershot and Gateshead back into it...

Re: Surely Not...
3 wins for us and 1 for them should be enough with our goal difference.
Given Eastleigh's form, I can believe them only getting 3 more points this season. Sadly I don't see us getting 9 points. If we can at least get the gap down to 3 points and bring it to the final day we give ourselves a chance.

Re: Shrimps Trust meeting with PWs
If PW had any sense, they'd make a huge deal about meeting with the Trust. There's nervous sentiment about season ticket renewal, now is the time to share a picture on social media of Kuljeet meeting the Trust. If PW can't show their faces to try and shift some season tickets, it shows how much they ...

He could have concluded the deal months earlier, giving everyone a chance.
Not that I want to defend Jason, but how much of the delay was down to him? We know PW spent months messing about with Sarbjot, and then months to satisfy the fit & proper test.
We may never know what caused the delay ...

The usual level of transparency from PW. I hope the Shrimps Trust reach out to KPM Groundworks to better understand how this happened.
Let's also hope the rumours of other unpaid suppliers aren't true.
