Re: Going forward
Should put things in to perspective. Our ex colleagues at Edgar street who remember are also ex league 1 have had a terrible season in the NLN and until recently were destined for yet another drop BUT last night has given them a glimmer of hope as they move out of the relegation spots with just 1 ...

Re: Who do we want as manager?
I wouldn’t read too much into Hogan and 18mth contract. He know doubt wouldnt have signed if only offered a contract until the end of the season at 37 so it makes sense that if Jim wanted his man he had to give him an 18mth contract & I think he’s still got at least another 12mths good form in him

Re: Who do we want as manager?
I’m not sure Danny would come back at present as we are a club so unsettled at present. He’s lead development coach at Carlisle at present another club he loves & is local too him. Being happy and settled can be a huge thing when you’re at work. Obviously a lot of people have ambitions and want to ...

Re: Who do we want as manager?
In my personal opinion Alex Kenyon would be a great addition. At 1st I thought no, he’s not got the right credentials, experience and connections for this level and it would just be another ex player with connections to the club BUT I was wrong. UEFA A licence holder, Ex Macclesfield U23 manager ...

Re: Realistically. Who do we look at keeping?
I would love us to keep Nolan, one hell of a good player/scorer. Was surprised we got him 1st time (Gills loss) but will he remain for NLN? Highly doubtful & offers for his signature will already be with his agent no doubt but I would hope Jimbo at least tries but will it be Jimbo doing it? If not ...

Re: Cole Stockton
Jim has the option if he wants too, he has the finances but only if he finds a player who can fit straight in to the playing squad so they would need to be good but this closes on Thursday with no more new signings. I’m in the same position and think it’s too late now for someone to come in and ...

Re: Season Tickets
It’s really not rocket science. Preview period is the cheapest and the club start gaining fans money & get an idea of budget for next season. Early bird slight cost increase but still savings for fans and again the club banks more towards budgeting. General open sale is what it is, general season ...

Re: Season Tickets
AFC Fylde maximum season seated ticket cost is £410 BUT that includes a guaranteed parking space.
Last season a parking space cost £170 at the Maz.
Add that to the cost of a season ticket for my current seat and it comes to £600......... :o
I can’t find anywhere the guaranteed parking space ...

I think only the club and player really know his contract length as I too thought his contract expired end of June this year and this is why Carlisle were/are pursing him before others jump on the bandwagon wagon come May/June BUT if correct and he is out of contract and if he moves on then as long ...

Re: Time for youth?
If we are relegated then we will need some squad to be challenging for automatic promotion that’s for sure. South Shields have been brilliant this season and it’s a tussle between them and Fylde & both have done well with recruiting. South Shields have only lost 4 all season and are currently 2nd ...

Brackleys bad fortunes started when Gavin Cowan ex manager moved on to Shrewsbury and good for us he did, Brackley started loosing and Shrewsbury are unbeaten in league 2, what a turn around he has been for them

Re: Eastleigh v Brackley & Scunthorpe v Sutton & Southend v Gateshead
I stick by Gateshead are the ones to watch/chase really. I know that seems strange but like us they have hit form after signing what seems like 100 new players since January. I reckon Brackley will come unstuck and 1 of us will take their place and this is going to run until the final game so hold ...

Re: It never ends
I wonder if we have broken the financial fair play rules, we have a massive squad and our income is probably down on what they originally estimated at the start of the season.
Ropinder prob doesn't even know such rules exist.
Have we? I know we have signed hundreds this season, ok slight ...

We’re on 30 from 36 with 10 left. Being realistic and not hopeful I reckon sadly we may achieve low 40’s and I think relegation is almost guaranteed now sadly but I hope we go down fighting until the end. What I think is even ...

Re: Wealdstone 2 Morecambe 3 [Popov, Nolan x2] LIVE thread
We put in a fab performance on Sat and people expect it every game. Did York put in a good game? No, not as good as they normally do anyway because things happen. Other teams stop you playing too your strengths, pitches become heavy or hard/dry, players have off periods, they’re human, dodgy food ...

Re: Liam Hogan
Hogan was immense yesterday. We could have done with him from the start of the season.
Not sure about making him player manager next season, I’d prefer an experienced manager. I’m glad he’s signed up though.
Jim knows a proper old style defender when he sees one, he was a class act himself, not ...

Just hope that the new combo at the back have pace to match the Gateshead forwards.
Ogwuru the returning striker is on the bench so we might see him sometime during the game.

If Jim wants him that’s good enough for me. Initially signed a contract with Rochdale until the end of the 24/25 season but in April 2025 suffered an injury keeping him out all season but yet in June 2025 Rochdale extended his contract by another 12mths until the end of this season. Rochdale are ...
